CITY TOUR LEON & SAN JACINTO HOT SPRINGS :

On the way to the historic and former capital city of León, we will pass beautiful views of Lake Managua, the impressive Momotombo volcano, and much of Nicaragua's agriculture heartland. While in León, we will enjoy the attraction of this cultural city, its churches, monuments, markets, and learn about its rich history, including its most famous former resident Rubén Darío, Father of Nicaraguan poetry. After enjoying a pleasant walk through the colonial streets, we will enjoy our lunch at a typical restaurant. On our way back to our departure point, we will stop at the well known San Jacinto hot springs to observe the active volcanic phenomena of the “boiling soil”, located on the foot of the Telica-Rota volcanic chain.
